Over-hit point planes not launching from Repair Pads...

We have noticed that when someone plays Seraphim and adds the repair Aura to their commander that the planes will often get 'stuck' on the air repair pads.



Essentially, it appears that when the unit has more hitpoints than it normally would (the boost from the repair aura) that the Air Pads will fully repair the plane but not re-launch it.



Didn't know if this was an AI issue or general issue.



We have been playing with the Duncane (1.8) and Sorian (1.3) AIs. We will be updating to current shortly.|||Sure its not still refueling?



Anyone else seen this?|||Yes, I too noticed this, with sorian AI, also as Seraphim. Air repair pad just sitting idle, with planes with full health on them, mass and energy not an issue. It happened with the Aeon to me also.



It is annoying.|||I have seen this with all of the AIs and factions. It is a bug with the plane repair and refuel behavior. Unfortunately, in FA this behavior became part of the engine so it is not editable.



Another bug is where the planes will seem to bounce up and down on the refuel pad.|||So, this bug is skirmish only?|||Sorian,



Are you saying the AirRefit and AirStaging behaviors dont get called or that they cant be used to solve it for reason?|||If you look, there is only one platoon that calls the AirUnitRefit behaviors anymore, the T3 scout. But, the Air units still repair and refuel.



The other way you can tell: If an Air unit gets one of those purple transport loading move lines to an Air Staging platform than it is using the AirUnitRefit behaviors. If there is no purple line than it is using whatever behavior they came up with in the engine.



I have all of my Air platoons using a custom AirUnitRefit behavior, but the engine one still gets used more often.|||I feel honored that I got both the top mod authors discussing in my little thread. Thank you both for your AI work - it has made the game challenging.



Should I report this somewhere else on the forums? Any way to let GPG know about it in hopes of future fix?
