DXT Viewer

Hi,
Just in case anyone's interested I found a little utility that allows you to very quickly view dds files:
http://www.ozone3d.net/dxt_viewer.php
I's quite useful for quickly checking textures because it loads up very quickly and tells you some important information, like the DXT type used and the number of mipmaps it has. I was working with some different shaders recently and needed to check what dxt version GPG used for some of it's units.

Mike|||I use photoshop to XD
Now if there was a Utility that could allow you to actually draw textures onto a 3D Model, and save that as a .DDS file, now THAT would be awsome XD|||The point is more that it allows you to quickly check data like mipmaps and the DXT level used. I was working on the GlassAlpha shader recently and couldn't figure out why my texture didn't work, then this helped me figure out that the Albedo for it needed to be dxt5 not dxt1. I can't figure out how to quickly find that in out in PS yet with the dds plugin.|||Sam37|||Oh nice, that's even better because you can sort through channels.|||And not everyone has photoshop :roll:
