Sorian AI Crashing?

First off, I want to say that I love the Sorian AI mod.

Its given me some great games so far. (Well up to the point of a crash to desktop.)

The only issue I have is that the game crashes to desktop, consistently, during the later stages of the game when I use Sorian AI. This is generally after many units are in play. The crash generates the GPG "auto bug report" form.

The maps that I have played are: Gentleman's Reef and Open Palms, a total of maybe 8 times combined.

After I remove the Sorian AI mod and go back to the standard, stock AI, it doesn't crash anymore and performs like normal.

Did I maybe download the wrong version of the mod?

Where is the latest stable version?

Does anyone else have this problem?

Last I checked, it wasn't in the mod vault on GPG.

I'm at work, but will post the version of Sorian AI I downloaded when I get home.

My specs:

E6600 C2D oc'd to 3.0

2 GB RAM

8800 GTS 320 MB

Asus p5b Deluxe board

Any help would be appreciated.

I have had some awesome games thanks to the Sorian AI mod....I'd just love to be able to finish them.... :D|||I've run test-games that run for 5+ hours with no crash. My guess would be you are hitting the 2gb limit. See this thread: http://forums.gaspowered.com/viewtopic.php?t=2382|||SupCom has also been periodically proven to be hypersensitive to overclocking or superclocking.

So, if you have a superclocked video card or a overclocked CPU, that could be a source of crash problems where SupCom is concerned.

In my old machine, I turned off Vsync and AntiAliasing in the game, and turned off the superclocking on my video card, and the crashes seemed to go away quite noticeably.

So, with my new machine, I made sure not to buy another superclocked video card, and I'm also making sure not to do any overclocking with the CPU either, and so far, I haven't had any crash problems at all.
