Modeler List (Sticky)

Now that we have our own home it's time to set things up. This thread will be very similar to the Released Mods List over in Mod Talk, Except for modelers.
Rules:
-Only 1 Post per modeler
-Include all mods you are working with (Self Updated by editing)
-May include up to 5 Pictures of your work
-Very Brief Summary of each picture allowed
-Make note of what you are capable of (Modeling, Texturing, Animation, Rigging/Exporting)
-Make Note of the program(s) you use.
-No Chit Chat Posts

As for me?
I'm an XSI Modeler, BUT, after lots of hard work I am Capable of Modeling, Rigging, Texturing, Animations AND Exporting, the only thing I can't do is create custom Textures, but I can easily use GPG ones.

projects:

the advanced warfare mod -new, innovative units with new models for interesting new strategies like drone carriers



the nomad race - we will soon include a whole new race, the nomads, a race with buildings that can slightly move and which is on T1 and T2 totally made for hit and run, fast but weak. just on T3 theyre strong but nasty expensive|||Below are a few models I worked on recently:

Image|||Had experience doing low polygon models for Total Annihilation for several years, along with scripting and programming in various languages (although not relevant to this thread). Never attempted texturing.



I use Wings3D which does support UV mapping, but no support for animation.

Experimental Construction Ship for TA's Core faction. Features an experimental walking script of my own design (which may come to supcom). Legs fold away seamlessly into the body.

Note texturing in last two is done using existing textures and just chosen appropriately for each face. All units in my sig have been modeled by me, except the last which was the first prototype of the previously mentioned experimental walk script.

I didn't create anything that's known now, except the everlasting Drones project, that only got to 50% completion once, and that was for TA. Currently trying to work on the Total Commander (or Supreme Annihilation?) project here.



I make low-to-medium-poly models in Lightwave, but currently I'm occupied with making an SCM exporter for it. And I haven't gotten very far.



Pictures may follow..|||moddeled for TA, Spring and now SC. These are my finished SC models (animations, bp, scripts, textures all done).

and well ive never been able to get any of my models ingame(well properly that is) so im a bit put off modeling atm XD|||Well I use Maya 8 for modeling. Blender for tex the model. Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 for the script. Photoshop 7.0 for the drawing.

I'm not very good drawing the texture for the model, but of you give me a drawing of a unit I can model it front and back and cover it with tex.



Work on a mod making a faction called the Legion Air.

Three months of work i've got to do. :shock:|||I guess it's time to add my name to the list. I've modeled 4 units for 4thDimension so far (5 if you count a little land mine) and I'm currently working on an experimental that I won't show until later (top secret and all that 8).
I model, animate and unwrap with 3ds Max (6, then 8, now 2009). I get Normal maps with xNormal (http://www.xnormal.com) and texture with Photoshop.

I see some nice models posted :)
I am studying Multimedia Computing, thus i know some 3D Modeling (but most of my knowledge has come through personal practice ;) ), the part where im best at is texturing since i have more experience in Image manipulation and processing....
I am using Autodesk 3DStudio Max 2010 for modeling (and UV Mapping) and Adobe Photoshop CS4 Professional Edition for texturing....
I've been working for several mods for C&C Generals : Zero Hour, and recently i entered the Supreme Commander community, since S.C. is my favorite game i will do my best to provide good models and keep that game alive :)
So let me post some work I've done !

(Texturing part is not yet finished as you can see, the fuel/energy tubes in the back are not yet textured, the head is also not finished, and finally some replacement and retouching is needed in the wing tips)
I'm also working on some Seraphim spaceships, and an Aeon tripod, pictures will come later on :D

I'm new at modeling and such- I can't texture or even add decent color to my works, thats how new I am. I do have some cool ideas, and I'll eventually post pics of what I've made|||Hi All,
I have recently produced my first decent unit, hence, I think I can join here too.
Wouldn't mind some help on how to work directly with .dds textures in 3d Max.
