I know modeling a bit, i mean not very much to make big giant cool looking destroyer but enough to make basic, small tank :) and do edits like adding another cannon to model etc.
But my problem is
What program i will use to extract data from game ?
What program i will use to get sc2 models ?
What program i will use to OPEN(import) sc2 models ?
What program i will use to SAVE(export) sc2 models ?
Also, what i want to do is skins(i mean model skins, dont be confused because skin means texture edit actually) and they should be work in multiplayer, is that possible ?|||You need to make sure you are asking the question in the right place, head over to Modeling, Texturing, & Animation Forum. But i dont know what programs i will use to export-import models to sc2 and where i get them, how to open that packages etc.

Oh look, someone had the same question.
(REQ) SC2 Model Importer for 3DS Max. The helpful post from Robotronic came from here.
Now before you ask, I believe 3DS Max is the only tool that does both importing and exporting of SC2 Models. There is a Blender plugin that I believe only does exporting, but I am not 100% sure. Look at all the stickies and the exporter plugin topics from the creators for more help; they are on the front page of this forum, the ones with more than 6 pages in them.
ps. Use google to search the forums, the GPG search is not so good.
