Good (custom) maps for the AIs

Here is a small selection of custom maps that i use for skirmish games and which the AI seems to like, i especially recommend 6-Badlands for its balanced and interesting layout. Also all maps from painangel are great for the AI, too.

Notes:

-El Diablo: Sometimes (not very often) the AI gets confused in the mountains

-Battle Isles R2: Do not play with more than 4 players, it gets too crowded otherwise

-Desert Oasis: Still missing the preview picture, but it's a nice map

-PMS: Some starting points are extremely hard, see readme of map

-Strait of Sorrows: Problematic map, not good for AI|||I've uploaded six to the Vault so far that are simply marker adjustments/alterations/additions for GPG maps, specifically for better AI play:

My username on GPGNet is the same as my s/n here.

Keep in mind no two games will play exactly alike and sometimes the AI will do funky things with its pathfinding waypoints on maps like Four Leaf Clover and Theta Passage that is beyond what marker tweaking can help fix.

Regards.|||where the hell is this vault? I was on GPG net yesterday and I did not see any links for this vault, I saw the notice that the vault was open but no vault,

Nobody ever seems to find that button...|||Its also in a pull down menu at the top of the window.|||All Maps I am Working on support AI I test with default and sorian in avariaty of spawn locations.

Do People Wish to see "AI" at the end of a map name to make it easier?

I always put it into the descrition but I can imagine people don't have the time to read throughe every match description.|||I think the AI at the end is only necessary for remakes of default maps, for custom maps the description text or the TAGS are enough. I always read the description.|||my maps have AI that works as well as the official maps imo.

the links are in my signature. They are in the vault so you can just search my name in the creater field and find them there
