Hi all, just a quick question. What do I need to do in order to get a structure to play an animation while in operation? I need to know because I have a T3 power generator for a custom faction of which a major component is two rings that orbit at alternating orbits around a central core. I cannot figure out how to get these rings to rotate in game. Thanks for the help!
Edit: Just thought I'd add, just in case: I know how to animate, and have the animation ready in 3ds max, I just need to know how to activate it in engine.|||I think Structure animations like that are done in the Unit's Script.|||Yeah, animations like that are started in the unit's script. Look at the UEF T1 power generator's script (ueb1101) for reference.|||All right, I see it...Fun-its not an animation but an engine thing-wasted all that animating effort for nothing. Oh well, thanks!|||You can simply have your unit script start playing your animation in response to the desired event. You can also script rotators to do this kind of animation without using your 3d package but both routes should be equally successful. There is no reason to abandon the animation you have already done.|||Armoured Fish
