It's illigal but It's possible. Right?|||phong1892|||I see. Thank you|||Don't be discouraged by such legal rant, Brandon and Gniarf ported a lot of effects and units from SC2 to FA in their time... if you pm Gniarf he will probably give you some instructions to get started or you could look at Brandon mod FA Prototypes to look at the ported files by yourself...

I figure we as consumers have a right to do what ever the hell we want with OUR purchased games. besides people do these sort's of thing's all the time, just look at me. I'm messing with the 360 version.
I also don't see how modding a game would hurt the sales, if anything it would encourage people to go out and get the game to try out the mods or possibly make sum of there own, thus increasing the sales.
All i can say is this, if it's for personal use, and your not trying to turn a buck, you should get no sweat about porting over every thing from SC2 to FA if you choose to do so, period. So go ahead and mod away!

unless you reverse engineer the entire sc2 engine and re-do fa with that engine..
nothing will come of copying a few scripts for effects and textures lol... nothing will come of porting the units either.. and if it does.. what your scared of a letter asking you to stop what your doing.. as if that will ever come either.. there is to much talk on this forum about c&d, legal action ect.. its all stupid... ignore them all.. take what you want.. if you get a letter, repost it back with an anagram of 2 fingers stuck up... then stop what your doing lol.. until then..
i think gpg know by now from reading threads on this very forum that most of us dont give a rats ar** about sc2 and much preferre fa..
