New aeon-bot video with updated SpecTeam

Greetings|||As far as I can tell the only difference is that the camera angle (and therefore lighting) has changed...
Or is it a slight difference in specteam red/blue/green?
A few clues would be great :D|||Sam37|||The best way to tell is to make a short video and view it. This way you can rotate the model and see it from multiple camera angles in a single pass.
As for what i could see in the pictures, it seams a much brighter then the ACU. Almost as if the ACU is "dirty" and the new bot is "clean"... I dare say that if you took 25-50% of the brightness off the textures you'd be very close. Past that, it's all about your personal preference as your model looks pretty much done. (Looks great BTW)
My question is now... have you animated this yet and if so can i get a peek ?
Ninja edit: I'd suggest using the shader's that are default for each faction and just altering the units texture to fit that faction. Otherwise if you make a unit that has personal shielding, the units shield effects will not look right in comparison to shielded units of the same faction. Granted you may not be thinking of shielding this bot but this is just something to keep in mind for later.

Greetings|||Did you lower the brightness any cause it seams like it is? From what i could tell it looks good so far so long as it isnt "clean" like i commented about before.
Also the animation looks good but for one thing... The units arm is very large and should cause it to walk a bit awkwardly. Try holding something heavy in your right arm and walking around the room. (You'll see what i mean) Should look a little as if it were limping a bit maybe.

all in all, I never thought that the aeon-texture is such a challange..... :)
But with a lot of dedication, I finally moved into the pole position :wink:
