[:1]I tried playing a game online through gpg.net, a 2v2, and when I joined, the game host said "Sorry RMSe17, you got Sorian mod, game crashes in 20 minutes, and I got kicked out."
Now that I think of it, I did play a 4v4 game last week, and the game did crash after some time, though I didn't know what to attribute that to.
Is this for real? Do I have to remove sorian ai every time I go to play a game on line?|||yes, everyone knows this.|||Clearly not.
How come when I play with my friends in a lan game vs CPU the game does not crash? Is it because we all have sorian installed? Or is it because we are not going through GPG?|||AI mods have to modify the games base files because GPG didn't set up a way to toggle them on/off like you do with normal mods. Unfortunatly this means that if you wana play in an unmodded game (or at least unmodded AI wise) you have to uninstall the AI mods.
The reason you can still play with your friends is because you all have the AI mod installed and the same version. If there is a version discrepency or the mod isn't installed for someone then it causes a Desync.|||Thanks for the explanation, that makes sense. So until everyone gets on board and downloads sorian AI, I will have to keep installing and uninstalling it.|||RMSe17|||If you had read the first post in my thread, you would know this:
